Mind reels a little like a kaleidoscope this morning. Gently turning and shifting through fragments of thoughts - emotions - memories... none of them really distinct - just casting colors and shapes as I go through the motions of getting ready.
It's good to be still and quiet before You Lord...
feels like being in a church with a kaleidoscope stained glass window.
I have come to really love the silence and stillness of the mornings. It still doesn't make it any easier to get up =P but I appreciate that I'm here once I get there. The only thing is then it makes me want to go back to sleep - in a fuller deeper sense of resting than just sleeping...
It is so good to rest in You Lord.
Psalm 99
"The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble!
He sits enthroned upon the cherubim;

The Lord is great in Zion;
he is exalted over all the peoples.
Let them praise your great and awesome name!

The King in his might loves justice.

worship at his footstool!

Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
Samuel was also among those who called upon his name.
They called to the Lord, and he answered them.
In the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them;
they kept his testimonies
and the statutes that he gave them.
O Lord our God, you answered them;
you were a forgiving God to them,
but an avenger of their wrongdoings.
Exalt the Lord our God;
and worship at his holy mountain;
for the Lord our God is holy!
